A REFERENCE FRAMEWORK to facilitate THE ACTION OF YOUTH workers AND HERITAGE ANIMATORS

The project partners questioned the pedagogical bases which could be followed by youth workers and heritage animators to facilitate heritage discovery and valorization activities for young people with little interest in these subjects. All principles of action, terms of reference, technical and bibliographic supports on which the animators could rely were compiled in a reference framework translated into 6 languages. This frame of reference was also used to organize the Resource Center toolbox, which provides facilitators with a large number of activities to develop as part of their educational projects.

The activities were grouped around 3 complementary axes:

- DISCOVER THE HERITAGE ON A RURAL TERRITORY,

- INTERPRET THE HISTORY AND USE OF RURAL HERITAGE, relying in particular on information technologies and the media,

- INITIATE YOUTH COLLECTIVE PROJECTS IN FAVOR OF HERITAGE, using group animation techniques to improve the effectiveness of projects.
